This is my granny’s “wedding suit” and one of her many hats.
In my family I am famous for over-dressing, one of my aunt still calls me Princess Jasmine because I turned up to a family party in a Princess Jasmine costume and it all started when I tried on one of my granny’s many hats. We used to visit every Thursday and Sunday and I would always make a beeline for the hat room, I was so fascinated with them and used to make up character who would wear them.
The hats were my first costume ever and dressing up in them makes me feel like a child again every time.
