We’ve been asking the team behind Fragments to share a memory that a special object holds for them.
This is one of the tins of Leichner powder that my Mum kept in an old tobacco tin, along with some greasepaint left over from when she ran her dancing school in North Devon. I loved the smell of the powder when I was a kid and it started a lifelong fascination with the theatre. Today I keep my make up in tobacco tin which sits on my dressing table. Sadly this little tin of bright pink powder has lost its wonderful smell, but just looking at it conjures up the memory of the smell for me.
